Large servings of really good food. Excellent BBQ and Brunswick Stew. Great sweet tea. Friendly staff and good service. Clean restaurant. Charming memorabilia and music made a delightful dining experience. Check it out!!
Good Eats, not the best barbecue in town but doggone close. If you want the good stuff then you're going to end up going to somebody's house so I say this to say it's doggone good to get some barbecue from here. It does have a slightly Universal commercial taste but their herbs and spices that they use really make it their own brand.
Wanted the famous NC bbq- ended up at a fried chicken joint instead it seemed! The food was decent but nothing blew our mind- in fact somehow they got the pulled pork to be drier than the chicken. At least the staff was somewhat patient and no one was rushing us. We could sit there, make calls and just chat endlessly. That was the nice part. For food, I am afraid, we will have to come back and find another place.
Even though it is a chain, they serve BBQ that is faithful to Eastern North Carolina tradition. I also love their Brunswick Stew. The staff is friendly
Very nice place to eat. Staff was very curtious. My brother had passes away and we went to eat here after family night. They closed at 10 and waited to close until we all had finished eating and made sure we had everything we needed before we left. Thank you for your kindness and great food.
